Free Family Fun Day at HistoryMiami

Free Family Fun Day happens on the second Saturday of each month. The museum is open 10 AM to 5 PM, with activities typically running from 12 PM to 4 PM. It is designed for families to explore the museum plus jump into kid friendly programming without feeling rushed.  

Families can expect:

    •    Hands on craft activities

    •    Interactive experiences

    •    Highlights tours geared toward families

    •    A rotating mix of themes and activities  

Registration is required for free admission.

Mom Approved Tips Before You Go

    •    Arrive a little early on Family Fun Day since it is popular and check in can take a few minutes  

    •    Plan about 1 to 2 hours for a first visit, longer if you want to do tours plus activities  

    •   Street Parking is available but can be a bit tricky, I highly suggest taking public transport, get off at Govt Center Staion for both the Metrorail and Metro mover.

    •    Check the museum calendar before you go since programs and themes change month to month
