Hop on Pop and celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a day full of whimsical fun. Enjoy special celebrity readers and original stage performances by the museum’s theater ensemble. Kids can get their faces painted as their favorite characters, watch balloon artists create fun designs, and snap photos with beloved literary mascots.
Families can also help the Lorax by creating their own Truffula Trees to take home, then join in singing Happy Birthday and enjoy a slice of cake to top it all off.

Planetary Parade at the Park

Experience a rare celestial event as six planets line up across the evening sky during this special Planetary Parade. Shortly after sunset, guests can spot Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn with the naked eye, forming a glowing arc above the horizon. With binoculars or telescopes, Uranus and Neptune will also be visible.
Bring your own binoculars or view the planets through the Frost Science Museum’s Celestron telescope, available on-site for guided observing. Park staff and local astronomy enthusiasts will be there to help identify planets, answer questions, and share insights about our solar system.
